aaron1013 > I noticed that every time I came close to this nest the mother bird would fly away, trying to distract me. The baby would then pop up and chirp to the mom for a few seconds and then duck down quietly to safety. So I set up my tripod and 300mm lens focused on the nest and ready to go. I had to wait for about an hour before the mom came back, just so I could scare her away again to get the photo of the youngster. I managed to get off two frames before the baby took cover again, and this was the best of the two.
